Sizing Guide

 Sizing Guide

Finding the perfect fit is essential for showing the elegance of a Qipao. Please read our measuring instructions carefully before placing your order.

Measuring Guide

  1. Bust / Chest – Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal.
  2. Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waistline.
  3. Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  4. Shoulder Width – Measure from one shoulder tip to the other, across your back.
  5. Dress Length – From the top of the shoulder to your desired hemline.

Please measure yourself and compare with the size chart under each Qipao product page. Different designs and fabrics (e.g. silk, brocade, velvet, jacquard) may affect fit and stretch.

International Size Conversion

Chinese standard sizes are generally smaller than US/European sizes. For example, a US 4 may correspond to a Chinese M. Please always check the detailed size chart under each dress.

Custom Sizing

Since every body is unique, we also offer custom-made Qipao service. You may provide your personal measurements (bust, waist, hips, height, and dress length), and our tailoring team will create a perfectly fitted dress for you.

 Tips for the Perfect Fit

  • Choose a size that fits your largest measurement (e.g. if your bust is size M but your hips are L, please choose L).
  • Jacquard and brocade fabrics have less stretch; silk and satin have slightly more give.
  • If you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
